3D Artist LFW - PST!!!

Not much new to add, but thought I'd check in. Still looking for a job, but this economy is thwarting me at every turn. Unemployment is paying the bills, thankfully. It's just getting very frustrating. I know I'm a fully capable and willing person, yet I cannot find work. Sure I could get a burger-flipper type job in a heartbeat, but that won't pay better than staying on unemployment and using my time to find a career job. Not to mention it's horribly demeaning. I have 6 years industry experience and a college degree. I don't think I could bear the self-shame of working a minimum wage job.

The other side is I can't do ANYTHING. I'm behaving, and telling myself I can't buy that book. Or go see that movie. Or go get icecream. I just sit at home, not spending money, and boring myself to tears. I havn't drawn in a couple months now, I just can't seem to get the motivation. I'd like to start my own 3D business, but I don't have a prayer in this economy. Basicly I'm just looking around, sending my resume to ANYONE who'd have me, and hoping I'll get a break eventually.

At least I can still go to karaoke once a week. I don't really drink anymore, so a couple beers cost me about $8, and an entire evening of entertainment. Also any excuse to get outta the house at this point, is a good one.

Tomorrow I think I'll upload some of my 3D stuff, just so I'll have it online. Maybe I'll luck out and an employer will see it, and ignore my whiny journals, lol.
